Why Kapus should disown Pawan Kalyan!
After a humiliating allocation of only 24 seats to Jana sena party for its alliance with TDP, Kapus in the state have erupted ferociously!
Jana Sena Cadre feels this is an insult to the already injured and demotivated Jana Sainiks!
After coming to know that they are a sizeble votebank of 22% compared to Kammas with 5% and Reddys with 7%, Kapus felt they should be given an opportunity to lead the state from front!
So far, Kapu community has seen 3 strong leaders — Vangaveeti Ranga, Mudragada Padmanabham and Dasari Narayana Rao!
Among above 3, Vangaveeti Ranga was the mass leader who had the potential to become CM of AP. His assassination in 1988 led to the debacle of NTR govt in 1989 which was invincible until then!
Kapus pulled down NTR govt blaming him for the loss of their leader Ranga!
Later Mudragada who had the potential to become state minister was sidelined and was projected only as a kapu leader.
Dasari who had political aspirations was also humiliated in the industry and was sent out!
Popular opinion is Chandrababu Naidu played a crucial role in above leaders not rising to the level they rightly deserved!
Dasari launched Udayam newspaper against Ramoji Rao’s Eenadu and was marching ahead as an alternative media opinion. After CBN became CM by usurping power from NTR, he convened a meeting with Tollywood and invited all bigwigs of the industry except Dasari. This irked Dasari and he immediately understood that CBN will not allow any Kapu leader to grow and become CM of the state.
During the Tuni train burning incident, CBN put the blame on Mudragada and tortured his family including ladies. When leaders like Dasari and prominent Kapu personalities like Chiranjeevi tried to visit Mudragada, CBN stopped them before entering the town of Mudragada!
During this time Pawan Kalyan chose to stand by Naidu and commented against Mudragada. He has won the trust of Naidu by commenting against a celebrated Kapu leader like Mudragada.
Since then Naidu has been using Pawan Kalyan to woo Kapu vote bank and support TDP always.
After the defeat of 2019, Pawan Kalyan sole agenda has been to bring Naidu to power.
By accepting only 24 seats for upcoming 2024 elections, Pawan Kalyan gave a very clear message on who is Master and who is Slave. It’s time Kapus stop seeing Pawan Kalyan as one among them!
