Vizag WILL be AP Capital — Confirms New AP BJP President!

In a major twist to AP State BJP stand, new State BJP President confirmed Vizag will be the Capital of Andhra Pradesh!

Interacting with journalists today, Somu Verraju who is a bitter critic of Chandrababu Naidu, said that Naidu cannot dictate what Modi has to do for Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu cannot demand Center to get involved in AP capital issue. Center was not involved when Amaravati was made capital earlier, so now it will not involve in AP govt 3 capital bill also.

Previously their involvement was only been in inauguration and so it will be the same case now. Center was not involved in selecting capitals for any state and so it will not involve even now.

He said as state BJP, they are only asking for farmers to be compensated. Apart from that they will not ask anything. This is major turn in AP state BJP stand where until few days ago, the ousted BJP President Kanna Lakshmi Narayana was demanding that Executive capital cannot move to Vizag, in line with Chandrababu Naidu Naidu demand.

Looks like Centre is preparing AP public to get ready for Executive capital to be shifted to Vizag. Somu Verraju’s pressmeet seems to serve that purpose!
