Vertical Split in AP State BJP over Capital issue!

AP state govt has speed up the process of moving administrative capital to Vizag after a delay due to the Covid situation. This has led to intense lobbying by real estate stakeholders of Amaravati region.

The capital bill is now waiting for AP Governor’s approval. Meanwhile the ecosystem belonging to Chandrababu Naidu has gone in full throttle mode to stop the proposed bill.

BJP AP State President Kanna Lakshmi Narayana wrote a letter to AP Governor asking the bill be rejected. This is in line to the demand of Chandrababu Naidu and his community members of 3 villages from Amaravati region.

It is important to note that, while BJP at center has declared in Parliament that it is State govt’s discretion to have capital where they want to, the State level BJP leaders like Kanna and Pawan Kalyan are supporting Chandrababu Naidu’s stand!

In this context, AP State BJP leader Raghuram came on a TV debate today and declared that BJP leaders who moved from other parties into their party are opposing the capital bill but the State BJP leaders who have been in the party from the beginning are not opposing this bill.

As expected CBN media is giving coverage only to BJP leaders who were planted by Naidu. In a recent controversy, BJP leaders Kamineni and Sujana Chowdary were caught in a secret meeting with the controversial AP election commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh at a Star hotel in Hyderabad. Interestingly all of them belong to the same community as Naidu. This incident shows AP State BJP leadership is compromised!

There are 16452 villages in Andhra Pradesh, but CBN media is airing countless stories on the sad state of 3 villages neighboring Amaravati. In quite contrast, farmers of those 3 villages are believed to be economically well off.

AP State BJP is heavily infested with cronies of Chandrababu Naidu. If Central BJP Leadership don’t weed out and make them irrelevant in the party, BJP has no future in Andhra Pradesh!!
