In what can be called as most shameful and disgraceful act by TANA audience, BJP National General Secretary had to walk away from the event (held on Jul 5th) abruptly after TANA audience behaved like low class mob and shouted slogans against him and PM Modi!

TANA — Telugu Association of North America — was founded about 42 years ago to bring together Telugu people across USA. Over the years it transformed to be an organization dominated by one particular community, i.e. of Chandrababu Naidu community. It also got branded as TDP party’s organization in America. Miffed members of that org came out and carved out other Telugu orgs like ATA, BATA etc. But TANA continues to enjoy the status of oldest Telugu org in USA.

TANA invited BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav along with other famous Telugu personalities. Telugu Movie Star Pawan Kalyan was used by the organization to pass criticism on PM Modi. He said Indian national leader won by threatening voters.

When BJP’s Ram Madhav started his speech and mentioned Modi, the crowd suddenly became unruly and started shouting anti-Modi slogans. With organizers not making any effort to control crowd, Ram Madhav had to conclude his speech. TANA president hurriedly came and presented him a shawl. Another gentleman came onto stage and reprimanded the crowd.

However the anti-Modi slogans didn’t subside. BJP National secretary had to quietly walk away from the event.

Chandrababu Naidu and his party supporters (especially those belonging to his community) are unable to digest the fact that Modi, whom CBN called a “hardcore terrorist” in election rally, was not only able to win with thumping majority but also won more seats than before. On top of it, Chandrababu Naidu had most humiliating defeat in his entire 40 year political career.

Taking a closer look at this particular incident, one can easily notice that TANA did this on purpose to insult BJP and Modi, in USA.
