After lot of deliberation Janasena President Pawan Kalyan attended TANA event in Washington DC yesterday.

His speech at the event however indicates that he has not done any brainstorming sessions for his humiliating defeat in recent elections. PK stated that he came out of the shocking result within 15 mins but he didn’t provide any explanation on why he went into hibernation for more than 15 days after the result.

He chose to give advice to media that they should not conduct debates about his participation in this event and instead focus on better things. PK forgot that TANA is supposed to be a cultural event and he chose to give a long political lecture instead of talking about Telugu culture and NRIs contribution towards upholding Telugu heritage.

Andhra people went for anti-government vote and they wanted to vote for someone who can be an alternative to CBN. PK seemed to came up with promise but soon fizzled out after he gave an impression that he is still inclined towards TDP. Voters didn’t want a friendly ally of TDP and so people who thought of considering to vote for PK diverted towards Jagan. This gave YSRCP a landslide victory leaving PK and CBN in the lurch.

Instead of accepting defeat and thinking about next steps, PK choose to attend TANA which is well known to be a supporter of TDP party and run by only ppl belonging to one community. In addition to participating, PK directly attacked Jagan and Modi from TANA stage.

PK mentioned about politician who went to jail and came out which received a loud applause from TDP supporters in the audience. PK choose to not mention why he had alliance with Mayawati who was already convicted for corruption!

PK said Indian politicians won elections by threatening people, singing the tune of “Intolerance” brigade against Modi.

He said he knew well before that not only his party but he too was not going to win. Then how come in every election rally he said Janasena was going to form govt? His supporters support him because they think he speaks from heart without any manipulation.

Conclusion

PK created confusion about his thought process that he knew he was going to loose. By attending TANA and closely interacting with TDP supporters and attacking Jagan, he only re-confirmed that he is still a TDP sympathizer.

His actions after the election debacle will not only demoralize his party cadre but also make him loose credibility within his hardcore supporters in Godavari districts!
