Modi loses credibility- In Andhra Pradesh!

Yesterday was an eventful day in AP politics. PM Modi addressed a large gathering in Anakapalle constituency as part of poll campaign in support of TDP and Janasena alliance.

Recently, ruling YSR had a upper hand when Modi skipped criticizing AP CM Jagan and later not subscribing to TDP Janasena combined manifesto!

YCP party was jubilant that BJP stayed away from alliance manifesto and they used it as a poll strategy to claim that BJP doesn’t align with Naidu’s vision.

However PM Modi made some strong remarks against current ruling govt.

PM Modi alleged that YCP govt is synonymous to corruption. However, BJP central govt gave national award to AP govt for implementing best practices in welfare schemes! The BJP central govt awarded Six national awards for AP being the state linking highest number of health records to the central govt’s Ayushman Bharat Digital mission.

PM Modi also said that the state has seen tremendous development during CBN govt regime in 2014. However in 2019 election campaign, Modi alleged that CBN was using Polavaram project as a ATM machine.

Unfortunately PM Modi contradicted himself by praising CBN now while he himself alleged CBN as corrupt politician until very recently.

In the age of Social media it is not possible to hide facts. While Amit Shah is seen as a strategic politician, Modi is seen as a Karma Yogi.

Before it’s too late, PM Modi should have the right set of advisors for him, specifically for AP state. Otherwise, BJP cannot hope of any revival in Andhra Pradesh even for 2029 election.
