Can Undavalli still be respected for his Political prowess?

In his latest interview to a Telugu media channel, Undavalli made scathing comments on PM Modi and HM Amit Shah. He criticized BJP’s Hindutva policy and Modi govt’s Kashmir actions.

Undavalli was talking about Hindutva and in that context he mentioned, “Dwaraka Peetadhipathi said Shirdi Sai baba is a Muslim and so Hindus should not pray to him”.
Undavalli indicated that Modi’s hindutva is spreading hatred. He seems to relate Hindutva and Dwaraka peetadhipathi’s statement on Shirdi Sai Baba.

Fact is Dwaraka peetadhipati openly gave a public statement that Sonia Gandhi is the avatar of Durga Devi. Dwaraka peetadhipathi has become irrelevant long back and was always used by Congress party to issue controversial statements.
Undavalli is aware of this but knowingly he tried to relate Hindutva with Dwaraka peetadhipathi’s controversial statements.

This is very unbecoming of a person like Undavalli who is considered an intellectual among political circles.

Not stopping there, Undavalli said Modi govt handled Kashmir’s Article 370 issue like Pakistan! He found wrong in Modi govt locking up Kashmiri leaders. Is Undavalli not aware that Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Mallik killed Indian forces and also a known separatist leader? Does Undavalli support such separatist leaders?

In any case, Undavalli is completely exposed of his hatred against Modi Shah duo. Till date he was only a critic of Modi Shah. With this interview he went a step ahead and became a critic of Hindutva and India as well!!
