AP Temple attacks- Jagan | Chandrababu Naidu | K A Paul
Since past year AP temples are seeing unusual attacks on their idols. Idols are being defaced and desecrated almost on a daily basis. So far Hindu Temples were subjected to loot by successive governments in the past 70 years by bringing them under govt control. There were innumerable corruption cases on Hindu temples across India and several govt officials were suspended or punished by law during past several decades for irregularities in mismanaging temple funds.
State Govts across India lately have gone a step ahead and started using Hindu temple funds for other religious programs too. Hindus have more or less got used to their funds being mismanaged by govt authorities and have become mute spectators to corruption in Hindu temples.
However, in Andhra Pradesh there is a sudden uprising among Hindus after multiple incidents of Hindu idols being desecrated. This not only happened in small temples but also famed temples like Antharvedi and Bejawada Kanaka Durga temples.
Andhra Pradesh Govt headed by CM Jagan has so far failed in bringing any of the criminals to justice. Lets analyze why these attacks are happening and who may be behind it.
For any crime, there would be a motive. Except in Andhra Pradesh, no other State in India is seeing Hindu temple idols being desecrated in such a fashion. Opposition is blaming AP CM Jagan who is a Christian by faith behind these attacks. AP CM Jagan convened a press meet and condemned opposition allegations. He counter blamed opposition that these attacks happened whenever his govt implemented welfare schemes to the poor and needy. He claimed that these attacks are an attempt by opposition to divert public attention from the welfare schemes success.
Chandra Babu Naidu who is a proclaimed secular suddenly took the Hindutva route and lashed out directly at CM Jagan and gave him a public warning to stop the temple attacks. Common AP public are amused by the sudden love of Chandra Babu Naidu towards Hindus!
KA Paul who is considered a political comedian surprisingly attacked BJP party and spoke in the tune of Chandra Babu Naidu. It has to be remembered that KA Paul had contested in all AP constituencies for 2019 election and he has chosen candidates with names similar to YCP candidate names. At that time, people believed that its Chandrababu Naidu ploy to confuse voters of YCP party.
Also when CM Jagan removed L V Subramanyam as Chief Secretary, few Christians celebrated by cutting a cake in Tirupati. TDP blamed that YCP Christians are celebrating a Brahmin ouster from Govt. Later it was revealed that they are TDP party workers. At that time, AP people believed that all Christian sympathizers of TDP party are facilitated by K A Paul.
People of AP believe that K A Paul may be helping Chandra Babu Naidu in his effort to defame YCP govt by supplying Christians of his party who can create nuisance around Hindu temples. Latest viral video in Social media where a pastor is seen singing prayers near a Hindu temple is supposed to be done by K A Paul party workers.
YCP Govt transferred the Antharvedi Ratham burning case to CBI in Sep 2020. So far CBI under BJP govt has not cracked the case of Antharvedi incident. YCP Govt has not cracked the case of Rama theertham.
When a church glass was broken (due to kids cricket ball hitting it) it got international attention and Indian govt had to respond on a war footing basis.
But when Hindu temple idols are being openly attacked on a daily basis, neither the BJP govt at Center nor the YCP govt at State are working on an urgent basis to catch the culprits.
Until the criminals are caught and brought to justice, Political Vultures will feed on Hindus inability to not ask for protection of their temples like Muslims or Christians do for their Mosques and Churches!!
