Amaravati Farmers insult Hindu Goddess on Women’s day!

Although most of the general public have forgotten about the protests by Amaravati farmers on AP Capital issue, now and then they continue to make noise. Women of Amaravati have now chosen to resort to Raastho Roko in Vijayawada on Women’s day.

As if that was not enough, they made a heinous crime by protesting in a disgusting manner. Women of Amaravati farmers got cooked rice and curries and they served the food directly by spreading it on the road! Even Beggars eat food in their half spoilt bowls. One would see only stray dogs eating food directly from road.

The protest on women’s day is especially nauseating given the fact that they all claim to be “farmers”. In Hinduism, there is a saying “Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam” meaning Food is a form of God. Also Hindus consider Food as Annapurna Devi or Dhaanya Lakshmi. No farmer would ever insult food like the way Amaravati protestors did! More so, no human being would eat food in the way Amaravati women ate!

It is to be noted that Chandrababu Naidu visited the capital region the day before and gave a call to protest. He was touring the region to canvass for local municipal elections. A month ago Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP party faced a humiliating polls in Panchayat elections. Hindu temples in AP had faced continuous attacks before that. After TDP karyakarthas were caught in Nandi idol shifting to road, Chandrababu Naidu himself had to agree that it was his people and tried to justify by saying that they wanted to install a grand Nandi idol in Shiva temple in place of the one that was shifted.

Popular opinion in AP is that God has punished Chandrababu Naidu by awarding more than 85% of Panchayats to YS Jagan’s party. There is no doubt Amaravati farmers will have to face the wrath of Karma for insulting Annapurna Devi on Women’s day!!
